China and the U.S. can step away from confrontation and “must do so” as the international community does not want to be forced to choose sides between the world’s two largest economies, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said Monday at Caixin’s inaugural Asia New Vision Forum.
