Exclusive: Meituan Co-Founder’s AI Startup to Buy OneFlow Technology

Billionaire Meituan co-founder Wang Huiwen’s artificial intelligence (AI) startup will acquire Beijing OneFlow Technology Ltd. to create a Chinese version of ChatGPT, Caixin learned from several people familiar with the matter.

The acquisition, in the form of stock swap, was approved by OneFlow’s board, these people said. Neither OneFlow nor Wang’s Beijing Lightyear Technology Co. Ltd. immediately responded to a request for comment.
