The development of artificial intelligence (AI) in China has been hindered by difficulties in achieving sustainable growth, acquiring adequate funding and talent, and accessing advanced semiconductors due to U.S. export restrictions.
Those were the key takeaways from a panel discussion held Wednesday during the Caixin-organized Asia New Vision Forum 2024, where three experts at the forefront of China’s AI transformation shed light on the difficulties the nation’s AI companies face.
