Chinese Sovereign Wealth Fund CIC to Promote New President, Sources Say

Sovereign wealth fund China Investment Corp. (CIC) is set to promote Executive Vice President Liu Haoling to president and vice chairman, replacing Ju Weimin, sources with knowledge of the matter told Caixin.

Liu has succeeded Ju as CIC’s new deputy Communist Party committee chief, according to an announcement issued Saturday by the world’s second-largest sovereign wealth fund by assets under management.
